Corkage(開瓶費), According to dictionary, it tells 'the charge made by some restaurants for allowing customers to drink wine that has been bought from somewhere else' (https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/corkage) You can allow to do some restaurant in Korea, but you make sure that not all of restaurants are accepted it. and price is depends on their owner, average charge is 5,000\ to 20,000\ in reasonable. but you may find some fine -dining restaurant will charge expensive price (I saw 110,000\) , or deny to this charge. This service is not familiar with in Korea, so you have to ask about come and drink it to staff first. Also I would like to tell you that even some restaurant accepted to drink in their restaurant, but they haven't wine glass. then you can negotiate about it.

Korean people like to drink alcohol very much, especially, soju is most popular alcohol. Soju is distilled alcohol, which has average 20% ABV. this is cheap, and easy to get drunk(about 4,000\ to 5,000\ Price in restaurant). and can get it anywhere. Beside, wine is become known to people as rich person's enjoyment or for special day before. Also Korea has an unsavory past, so they want to get drunk easily and quickly. This characteristic is expresses they like to do faster. And now, Korea has grew and reached top country now, so they want to time to spare for their life. As a result, you can buy wines easier now, So Korean perception is changing.
